Advocacy, Community and Empowerment
MISSION
The Clinton School SGA strives to… represent and advocate for students’ needs to faculty and staff while building community through collaborative, student-centered events across the state of Arkansas.
PURPOSE
The Clinton School SGA works to… (1) Provide a formal process through which student interests may be promoted and concerns may be resolved, (2) Establish and maintain a representative voice for the student body, (3) Cultivate relationships and facilitate information flow among the student body, faculty, staff, and administration, (4) Oversee functions of student committees and plan events for the student body and (5) Facilitate ongoing communication with former Clinton School students.
ACTIVITIES
The Clinton School SGA hosts… monthly general body meetings in-person and virtually. In addition, Executive Board meetings are held biweekly and are open to the public. Select members of the executive board meet regularly with faculty and staff, serving as an initial liaison between students and faculty, updating staff on student needs and upcoming activities. As an Executive Board, members organize a series of events and activities that offer a wide range of student involvement opportunities based on a diversity of interest areas.
